Each petalled oil well is hand-formed and finished individually, with full weight and balance engineered into the piece for formal aarti use.

The five-faced diya represents the pancha mahabhutas — earth, water, fire, air, and ether — the five elements offered together in traditional aarti and major home pujas. It is a working ritual object at the heart of Lakshmi puja, Diwali, and griha pravesh ceremonies.
